Property Refurbishment and Maintenance

• The scope of refurbishment work undertaken encompasses one-off bespoke renovation, right through to large long term planned modernization programmes.

• NKS Contracts Ltd has successfully completed various commercial and retail refurbishment contracts. This diverse workload encompasses many areas such as property renovation, shop conversions, public house modernizations, right through to office refits and general project management.

• We are very experienced in kitchen and bathroom modernization programmes. Last year we successfully completed over 400 in total for various Registered Social Landlords.

• We are skilled in Occupational Therapist specified disabled bathroom adaptations and have completed over 175 in the last year alone.

• We are currently working in partnership with several large Housing Associations, undertaking large modernization programmes of kitchens, bathrooms, electrical rewiring and OT adaptations. These clients include Knightstone HA and Somer HA, among others.

• As a large proportion of our work is undertaken in occupied premises, we employ specialist tenant liaison personnel to help facilitate progression of the works. Thus causing a minimum possible disruption to the residents and enabling work to proceed at an efficient pace.

• We directly employ all our own trade staff, including: Carpenters, Plumbers, Gas Fitters, Electricians, Plasters, Ceramic Tilers, Decorators and Floor layers. This enables us to have complete control of the building process from start to finish.

• Supply chain management is fully embraced and constantly monitored by NKS Contracts Ltd. We have entered into long term negotiated agreements with many major suppliers, including: Rixonway Kitchens Ltd, Howdens Joinery Co and Wolseley UK to name but a few. Thus enabling us to minimize supply costs and ensuring “Best Value” is achieved for our customers.
