• NKS Contracts Ltd started life as a painting contractor, with roots that go back over 25 years in this field.

• We have successfully completed literally thousands of contracts since inception, with over 2000 properties externally redecorated last year alone.

• As with the other services provided within NKS, the decorating arm encompasses the same quality, service and “Best Value” ethos that is prevalent throughout the company.

• We have an extensive data base of “KPIs’” and tenant satisfaction results, which bare-out an extremely high level of client appreciation. These results are available on request.

• The scope of work we undertake is extremely varied, encompassing high quality internal redecoration and paperhanging, plus large cyclical external repainting programmes. In addition to the commercial internal and external redecoration of offices, shops, factories, hospitals and schools.

• We have also established a dedicated team of operatives to service the pre-paint repair needs of the decorating team. They are highly skilled and experienced in all aspects of pre-paint repair, including the Window Care resin system, quality joinery repairs, timber scarfing, render and brickwork reinstatement.

• We are currently working in partnership with numerous Registered Social Landlords and actively tender for many other cyclical redecoration programmes.

• In accordance with good supply chain management, we have entered into various service agreements with our suppliers. Not only to ensure financial value is achieved for our customers but to maximize the quality of service we are able to provide. For example: one key area of concern with external redecoration can be scaffolding. We have therefore, entered into long term service agreements with numerous scaffolding companies throughout our area. Thus, enabling us to ensure a high standard of service is vigorously maintained, by offering long-term continuity of work as a financial incentive.
