As Bath gears up for the 2025 Bath Christmas Market, one of the city’s most loved festive traditions, we’re pleased to be working closely with Bath & North East Somerset Council for another year to help ensure the city centre is safe, accessible, and ready to welcome thousands of visitors.

To keep everyone safe and help the market run smoothly, we’ve been phasing our construction work since September so scaffolding can be removed naturally by mid-November. This minimises disruption and ensures the rest of our project work can continue throughout the busy festive period. For longer-term projects where full removal isn’t possible because of essential façade repairs - such as at 11 New Bond Street - we’ll strip back all non-essential scaffolding in line with the Council’s requirements, while ensuring any remaining structures are fully secured and compliant to protect pedestrian access and public safety.

During the market, temporary road closures and parking restrictions will be in place across 24 city centre streets. NKS will continue to work closely with the Council and local partners to manage these changes effectively and ensure essential works continue safely behind the scenes.
