An area of Bath’s fashionable New Bond Street is to receive a trendy new makeover as part of Bath and North East Somerset Council’s, (B&NES), project to revitalise the street-scene as the city’s most visited retail area
We have secured a £230,000 project to revitalise four retail units on New Bond Street, one of Bath’s most fashionable retail areas for shoppers in the city. Units 22a, 22c, 23 and 24, form part of a 5-storey, Grade II early 19th century terrace building with commercial retail space on the ground and basement floors.
Secured through competitive tender under Lot-2 of the B&NES framework agreement for Major Building Works, the project aims to attract new footfall to the area with the formation of a series of pop-up shops as a ‘white box’ to appeal to new retail businesses wanting to set up shop in the city.
Work is due to start in early September and fast-track for a duration of just six weeks in preparation for new retail tenants to occupy the newly refurbished space.
