More Play Space for Bath Primary School Children

School children at Newbridge Primary School will welcome their return to school life after the summer break with an additional grassed area for safe play thanks to the removal of two temporary classrooms that have been standing on the grounds for almost 60 years.

Over the years, the structures have been a place for learning for 1000s of 4-11-year-olds but have not been used as classrooms for some time and will not be replaced. We secured the contract to demolish the buildings and make good the grounds through competitive tender, winning the work in stiff competition against other local contractors by having the most economical and advantageous proposal to deliver the work safely.

As Principal Contractor, our role as project managers led and oversaw the safe demolition of the timber frame Pratten classrooms and a wooden walkway that connects them to the school by our nominated contractors Bath Demolition Ltd. The project took six days to complete in August 2023 during the school summer break.
